Before you start: set aside about 20–30 minutes. There are eight steps; your answers are saved at each step and you can pick up where you left off. At the end, the result appears on screen and is sent by email, with a link to share with your leadership team and board.

Context
Before the assessment, we need to understand the organization's stage.
Institutional capacity is contextual. Stage, scale and ambition change what an organization needs to sustain.

What does the organization need to achieve in the next stage?
Capacities only make sense when compared with what the organization intends to achieve. Choose a priority goal. Secondary goals are optional.
Important: the stated goal is also a hypothesis. As we go deeper, it may be confirmed, reprioritized or reframed.
